ITINERARY:
1- Blue Cave
This is the first stop of our tour. When you dive into the clear, deep blue water and swim into this remarkable sea-filled cave, you will discover a unique and magical beauty above and below the water. Prepare to be amazed by the geology and delighted by the natural underwater wonders you encounter.
2- Butterfly Valley
One of the most dramatic and beautiful settings in Oludeniz, Butterfly Valley is the second stop of the boat tour. On the way, you will be captivated by the sea with its multiple shades of glittering blue and turquoise and the towering cliffs, reaching up to 400 metres above you. You are visiting one of the most natural and unspoilt beaches in the region. Walking into the unique canyon, you may glimpse a waterfall. Carved into the rocky gorge over the millennia, the waterfall is fed by the crystal clear springs that flow from Babadağ and the mountain range that forms the magnificent backdrop to this part of the coast. Butterfly Valley is so named as it is home to a remarkable number of butterfly and moth species. We are certain that here you will take many photos and the unique beauty of Butterfly Valley will long remain in your memory.
3- St. Nicholas Island
The boat takes you along the coast to St. Nicolas Island; the third stop of your tour. A tiny islet, nestling close to the rugged, forested coastline, it is almost invisible from the sea. Also called Gemiler Island, it is packed with the mysterious byzantine ruins of former churches, chapels, homes and workshops; indeed, an thriving community once lived there, and some say that it is named after the saint who is now known as Santa Claus. Engulfed in undergrowth, paths and tracks have been cleared, making it a fascinating place for adventurers and those interested in history to explore. For those wishing to learn more, there is a resident guide. It is here that the boat moors for lunch. The crew prepares a delicious open buffet while you visit the island, or swim in the deep blue waters, catching glimpses of the ancient buildings, some of which are now submerged under the seawater.
4- Aquarium Bay
Everyone loves Aquarium Bay, our fourth stop. A perfect spot for relaxing in the afternoon sun, here in the bay you will see at least fifty shades of blue and discover the unique beauty of the underwater world. This makes the location a firm favourite for snorkelling and diving.
5- Cold Water Bay
Coldwater Bay (Soğuk Su), one of the most famous bays on our Ölüdeniz boat tour, is full of surprises. Hidden between two rocky bluffs that are covered in dense pine forest, it only becomes visible and reveals its beauty once the boat enters the cove. But once the boat anchors, there is another surprise waiting for you. The bay takes its name from the icy-cold freshwater springs on the seabed that mix with the warm salty sea water. This creates a unique and rather unexpected swimming experience, but a refreshing one that we are sure you will enjoy, especially in the hot summer months. As we move on to the last stop on the Ölüdeniz boat tour, you will see the sun setting behind the forested coastline, while feeling contentment and happiness that the day has brought you.
6- Camel Beach
The calm waters and small pebbly beach, in this quiet spot is ideal for those who want to enjoy the last dip of the day and enjoy the sunset, before returning to Ölüdeniz.
