In Greek mythology, Bellerophon was a hero known for his legendary exploits, including his encounter with the winged horse Pegasus. Our tour continues after a photo break.
1.Yakapark: Yakapark is a nature reserve, where pure ice-cold water flows, fed by the underground meltwater springs that cascade from the Akdağ mountains. The water here is so chilly that small prizes are given to guests who are daring enough to stay in them for a while. Will you be brave and try this? The luxuriant vegetation and delightful nature, makes this cool place a hot-spot for photography and we are sure that you will love it here. There are also restaurants that serve tasty, locally grown freshwater trout.
2.Saklıkent Canyon: We visit Saklıkent for two reasons. First we eat lunch. The restaurant serves dishes from a menu that includes many kinds of appetizers, as well as chicken, fish or vegetarian dishes, by the pure, icy waters of the river. After the meal, you will also have the opportunity to join a 45 minute walk into the Saklıkent Canyon, Europe's second largest gorge. Saklıkent also has a Zipp Line and Rafting activities.
3.Mud Bath: High in minerals and odourless, this beneficial mud is brought down from the mountains by streams that have created a natural pool by the river. Here you can cover your body in this remarkable mud and, after waiting for 10-15 minutes, wash it off. A great way to exfoliate dry skin, it will leave your skin feeling healthy and smooth.
